Shawn Michaels battling the Razor, Diesel and others in Wrestling
Shawn Michaels peeked my interest while learning about wrestlers, since this man was not only struggling in the rings; he was struggling outside the rings. During Michaels first match in the Louisiana rings Shawn lost the battle. Michaels, career starting to unfold. Teaming with Jannetty appeared to be a big mistake however, since it took him to trouble. At the time, Shawn and his joining friend were battling at the AWA and when WWF invited the two men to brawl at the matches, they were hung over and lost their opportunity. Later however, WWF gave Michaels and his caporal another chance to wrestling at the World Wrestling Federations. (WWF)
Shawn went through many ups and downs during his first years, but proved his strengths as he changed his habits and took wrestling serious. Shawn Michaels appeared to come from a nomadic military background, which lead him into drinking and party frequently.
During the Razor session, Shawn Michaels lost his IC Belt, due to some complications between contractors. Unfortunately, Michaels decided to go for a retreat, which cost him his title and lead to deferral. Shawn at the time was suppose to match the Kid, however Razor took over and took the IC from Martel. Later, however Shawn was re-established, thus taking the spot for Lawler and battling the Harts'. His teamsters were booted, thus Shawn had to fight Bret, Bruce, and his other two brothers on his own. This lead to a count out, which the Harts won:
It wasn't until Wrestle Mania 8, and after Shawn Michaels stole Sensational Sherri from DiBiase, only then did he get his name Sexy Boy, and only then did he attend PPV again. Alone, and with Sherri as manager, Shawn battled El Matador, winning the round. His breaking apart from Jennetty proved fruitful since afterwards Michaels took the Intercontinental Belt, taking the title from none other than Bret Hart him self, which led to additional bouts of wins and losses. Later Shawn Michaels brawled with Martel, which led to the 1992 Summer Slam. I brought this point up again, since it shows in the information how much struggling Shawn Michaels had to endure to reach the top in the rings. Still, it didn't slow, since he struggled hereafter.
With Shawn reinstated, he broke away from Ramon's and joined the Rumbles in 94. Shawn went through a few changes thereafter, including a loss against Razor; however, Diesel and Michaels took the tag IC belts, taking the Headshrinkers down to take hold of the belt. Shawn between and after these matches cost a couple of wrestlers the belts, thus Diesel and Shawn brawled, which broke up their partnership. Shawn and Diesel in 95' butted heads, during the Rumbles that included the last man standing win the title. Shawn won!
Prior to the rematch unfolding, Diesel and Shawn teamed up again after Diesel stepped in the match to help Shawn out against Sid. Shawn was hurt during this bout, thus this put him out of commission once more. He returned however, to the rings.
This incident brought Diesel and Shawn back in union. When Shawn returned to the rings, he brawled with Bundy, which wasn't an easy task, since King Kong was the champ of the rings. After the match, Shawn fought Kama , which made him the IC champ once more.
Shawn Michaels is the baby in the home, but the man in the rings. Shawn Michaels had a rough start, but after he got the hang of the ropes, he surely made headway, yet he still endured ups and downs. Shawn like many other wrestlers in the ring learnt to fight dirty from time to time, but overall he fought his way to the top without breaking the rules to the point of removal, with the exceptions. Shawn at one time teamed with Jannetty; however, the two men coming into the rings together soon came to brawls, especially after Sherri started managing Shawn.
